On the Occasion of the International Youth Day, I would like to renew my commitment to doing all that I can to keep the young safe and protected. Young people are facing unprecedented challenges – but wehave unprecedented passion, know-how, and determination to achieve greater success in our lives.
As the world fights against the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been deeply saddened to hear about reported cases of some youth suffering physical punishment, humiliations, and emotional abuse on a regular basis from all over the world.
As an MP its saddens my heart whenever such revelations are reported.
Dear Youth, we have the ability to dream and make these fantasies a reality. Have a dream, build a network, build yourself, believe in yourself and make it happen. The Future is You.
On this day, I promise the youth of Ablekuma Central and Ghana as a whole my support to help nurture their dreams so it becomes a reality.
Let me also take this opportunity to thank all Youth in the Constituency especially Polling Station Youth Organisers for their support during the just ended Registration Exercise and wish to remind them of the battle ahead of us. I also entreat each and everyone to campaign massively for the victory NPP come December 7th, 2020.
I wish you all a Happy International Youth Day.
